Albright College

Resident Assistant Appointment
Abigayl Blasco from Wilkes-Barre has been appointed as a resident assistant for Crowell Hall at Albright College. A graduate of Holy Redeemer High School, Blasco is currently pursuing a degree in communications. The resident assistant position includes responsibilities such as supporting student development and fostering community standards within the residence halls.

Global Scholars Program Initiated
A group of 16 students, designated as Albright College Global Scholars, has begun a year-long educational program aimed at providing international study opportunities. This year’s cohort includes Addison Augaitis from Shavertown, who is majoring in music industry studies, and Tori Drennan from Drums, who is pursuing a degree in environmental science. The program features a January study abroad experience as part of its curriculum.

Fashion Industry Experience
Nevaeha Racine from Plymouth participated as a front of house crew member during Albright College’s New York Fashion Week runway show. Racine, an alumna of Wyoming Valley West Senior High School, is studying fashion merchandising.

Internship Completion
Carly Bono from Drums has successfully completed a summer internship as an audit intern with Kreischer Miller while studying accounting at Albright College.

Kean University

Spring Dean’s List Recognition
Kean University has announced that 3,959 undergraduate students earned recognition on the Spring 2024 Dean’s List. Among them are local residents Liliana Carredo from Dallas and Holly Robbins from Harding. This honor is awarded to students who maintain a GPA of 3.45 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credits.

Lebanon Valley College

Resident Assistant and Mentor Roles
Alexandra Gomez from Wilkes-Barre has been named a resident assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year at Lebanon Valley College and has also been selected as a Mosaic Mentor. The resident assistant role involves overseeing student life in the residence halls, while Mosaic Mentors assist incoming students during their transition.

Ambassador Designation
Karly Kay Kile from Nescopeck has been appointed as a Valley Ambassador for the 2024-2025 academic year at Lebanon Valley College, where she will guide prospective students through campus tours.

Album Release Participation
Jacob McGovern from Shickshinny participated in the recording of “Vicious Fishes” with the Valley Jazz Orchestra at Lebanon Valley College, marking the orchestra’s first album release since the 1970s.

Summer Dean’s List Achievements
