The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has recently announced a generous donation of HK$16 million from Tigillus Foundation Limited. This significant contribution will be used to establish an Endowed Professorship and an Academic Fund, specifically focused on supporting academic research in Chinese History within the Faculty of Arts.
Ceremony Highlights
A signing and cheque presentation ceremony was held on September 16, attended by notable figures such as Mr. David Chang, Founder, and Mr. Derek Gobel, Director of Tigillus Foundation Limited. Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKU, was also present to mark the occasion.

During the ceremony, Professor Xiang Zhang expressed his heartfelt appreciation for this philanthropic initiative. Mr. David Chang, who studied Computer Science and Financial Mathematics at Stanford University, shared his aspirations for local educational institutions.
