Purdue University Ranks No. 79 Globally and No. 32 in the U.S. in Times Higher Education 2025 Rankings

Purdue University has achieved a global ranking of 79th and a national ranking of 32nd in the 2025 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, as reported on October 9, 2024. This improvement of seven positions from the previous year also corresponds with a historic peak of 13th among U.S. public universities.

Purdue’s Unique Position

Purdue University is distinguished as the only institution in Indiana to be included in the top 100 worldwide and the top 50 nationally, ranking 8th among public land-grant universities.
