Rogers Foundation Scholarships for Higher Education: Apply for Up to $25,000

Clark County High School seniors can now apply for scholarships totaling $400,000 to be offered by the Rogers Foundation. The foundation plans to award scholarships to 11 students, with each recipient eligible to receive up to $25,000 per year to support higher education expenses.

Eligibility Requirements

Students interested in applying must have completed the SAT or ACT examinations, regardless of their scores. The application deadline for these scholarships is set for February 2. The Rogers Foundation, a private charitable organization, aims to provide financial assistance to students facing challenges as they prepare for college.

Foundation’s Commitment

Janae Downey, Chief Financial Officer of the Rogers Foundation, commented on the importance of this initiative, citing the financial burdens that students encounter in their pursuit of higher education. The foundation’s efforts are designed to alleviate some of these challenges, facilitating students’ ability to achieve their educational aspirations.

Scholarship Tiers

The scholarship program includes three tiers of awards, all of which are renewable for an additional three years. One recipient will be selected for a prestigious scholarship of $25,000, five students will be awarded $10,000 each, and another five will receive $5,000 each. Recipients may utilize the scholarship funds at any institution of higher education, including vocational and technical schools, community colleges, and state universities.

Impact of the Rogers Foundation

Since its inception in 2015, the Rogers Foundation has awarded scholarships to a total of 262 high school graduates, aiding them in their pursuit of educational goals.
