The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) has entered into a significant partnership with the Medical Device Authority (MDA) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to promote innovation and education in the medical device field. The signing ceremony took place at the UoC Welcome Centre and saw participation from representatives of both institutions.
The MoU was officially signed by Professor Dr. David Whitford, Vice-Chancellor of UoC, and Dr. Muralitharan Paramasua, Chief Executive of the MDA. This partnership is designed to enhance academic and research collaborations that will yield mutual benefits, thereby creating opportunities and improving expertise within the medical device sector. This effort is part of the Government’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030).
